Senior (Front-end) Developer

ABOUT THE JOB

At Build in Amsterdam, we are seeking an exceptional Senior (Front-End) Developer who is as passionate about clean code as we are about clean design. You should have an expert understanding of web technologies, strong affinity for robust platform architecture, a deep appreciation for responsive design, and a keen eye for detail. We are looking for someone who is creatively driven and eager to join our innovative team, setting the benchmark by creating unique digital flagship stores for our international clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and maintain high-quality code for digital flagship stores using our tech stack

• Optimize for performance and scalability, ensuring an unforgettable user experience

• Work closely with our design and development teams to translate designs into fully functional digital experiences

• Lead projects from inception to deployment, setting new industry benchmarks along the way

• Mentor junior developers, elevating the team’s skillset and promoting a culture of excellence

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years in web development

• Technical Expertise: Expert in web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, React, and Next.js

• Headless CMS Experience: Hands-on experience with platforms like Contentful, Storyblok, or Sanity

• E-commerce Solutions: Familiarity with headless e-commerce platforms such as Shopify or Centra

• Agile Workflow: Skilled in using version control and following agile development practices

• Responsive Design: Strong understanding of responsive design principles

• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Portfolio: A portfolio demonstrating your expertise and past projects
